WELCOME! Looking for a unique gift for a friend, relative, or yourself? We're sure you'll find the perfect handmade wood craft item here! Father Mom Wood Art was created out of an inspiration wood craft piece we received as a gift. We are John & Nancy Baumgardner. After selling our wood crafts at church bazaars, we looked for a way to expand, so here we are online! Currently, we participate in craft shows and street fairs in the San Diego, California area. Much like the woodworking art called Intarsia, each of our wood craft creations are drawn on pine, cut apart, sanded, painted, glued back together, and a finish coat is applied. We use a non-toxic acrylic wash that allows the grain of the wood to show through. We offer a variety of subjects that will surely add a special touch to a wall, a shelf, or a table...great ideas for gifts...birthdays, graduation, weddings, or a "thank you" to a friend.
